Apparently former Clash man Mick Jones is to play a charity concert on March 13th at the William IV. Details are here in the largest webpage in history.
This area has great transport links and is just crying out for a live music venue (permanent one) or club night (alternative music). I think the area has enough people who would come out to see new/old bands (excluding the legions of pram pushers). It would be cooler without the Gracelands-style mums-with-mulberrys image. JMHO.
