Revised sports centre plan

Opposite the Benson & Hedges flats. I'm not sure why it was controversial

  1. An exhibition of the plans will be held at the Jubilee Sports Centre on May 10, from 10am to 4pm, and at the Moberly Sports and Education Centre on May 11, from 10am to 4pm. More information is also available at www.westminster.gov.uk/activequeenspark

  2. It was controversial originally because the Jubilee sports centre was going to be 100% replaced by housing.

The revised plan appears to try to remedy that.

Jubilee Sports Centre users lose out (with both plans), Kensal Rise residents gain an 'improved' Moberley sport centre.

Brent residents inevitably won't get the Westminster discount though...

  3. Is Moberley in Westminster?

  4. Jubilee is in Westminster.
    Moberley is in Brent.

Both sites are owned by Westminster.

  5. As far a I am aware discounts for Brent residents will continue.
