I had also heard that Old Oak Common (near Kensal Green) was a potential site - also providing a High Speed Rail (HS2) station/ interchange - on existing railway property.
That's fantastic news: fingers crossed! As recent arrivals in Kensal Rise, an i ask if there is any information to be had on why the Bakerloo Line at Kensal Green is so erratic? Sometimes trains are running all the way through from one end of the line to another but then suddenly, and often outside busy times, the wait can be up to 15 minutes in both directions. We're Zone 2: it doesn't make sense Help.
I'm not a regular user, but quite a few trains turn around at Queen's Park. I believe one factor is there are the silverlink (perhaps renamed overground now) trains which run through so you can get on one of those and then change at Queen's Park for the tube.
We’re campaigning for a Crossrail station in Kensal. To find out more and how you can lend your support if you wish to do so, go to www.rbkc.gov.uk/crossrail
