good ridance ... what an a-hole. thinks he's somehow a "rebel" or being "artistic" while in reality he's just an unemployed loser blighting society making no efforts to do anything. what the hell were his lawyer parents up to ... they must have had some idea what he was getting up to. they must be so proud of their spawn
Hmmm, perhaps a question for society is:Does the lack of Youth activities / centres in the area 'allow' this kind of anti social behaviour to occur?I was at a Kensal to Kilburn ACF (Area consultation Forum) where it was mentioned that a charity are seeking an appropriate location for a youth Activity Centre in the Kensal Rise area - mentioned in passing, not as an agenda item.
agreed a youth centre might be useful but its still no excuse for bad behaviour. allowing children and adults (as in this case) to not take responsibility for their actions is the root of the problem. with all the development & regeneration going on in south kilburn there certainly must be some youth centres planned ... surely our councilors have insisted on this and integrated into the plans ... (?) its a massive massive project - anyone know?
-Always fascinating to see the persons behind the grafitti that is a long established part of London's rich & varied culture. Perhaps folks reading this article will remember the legendary 'PERVETS(sic)AGAINST POLARIS' -The unintentionally hilarious mural that adorned the outside of Kensal Green Station throughout the 1970's.
Art is a strange thing. Some of us like very mainstream pictures. Others like a nice shark in formaldihyde. Art is subjective. What we like is not wrong just how we perceive things.Graffiti is art to some and rubbish to others. But is it really criminal?
